A Message From The Chairman
[Monday, 22 December 2014 22:36]
Having just concluded our final board meeting of 2014, I can only reiterate what I have said before on many occasions - what a privelige it is to be the chairman of this great club.
What a year it has been, each year seems to have included a project of some description or another and this year was no different. The much publicised new hospitality was built and I will be honest enough to say that I still pinch myself when I walk about it and take in just exactly what we have done here. The bar on match days continues to go from strength to strength and the revenue from this will eventually manifest itself on the pitch by way of new players. This may take a year or two but mark my words it will have a bearing on the club finances for years to come.If this time of year forces you to reflect then I feel we have done well, just missing out on a play off spot as well as the great start to this season has been a source of great pleasure.
The heady days at the start of our season with home wins over Dunfermline and Morton will live with me for a long time. However the next few weeks will have a huge bearing on our season and as I keep saying no-one is getting carried away or having ideas above our station. We will simply keep our heads down and keep working.
Finally thank you to all our supporters for your continued backing - may I take this opportunity to wish you all a peaceful and Happy Christmas.
