Team News – Queens Park – According to the match report on their own website, Queens turned in a disappointing display at Airdrie last time out, so Head Coach Gus McPherson may be contemplating changes to the starting line-up.
The ‘Spiders’ lost the services of the influential Jack Iredale in January when he returned to parent club Morton.   However one of two new temporary transfer signings Aidan Keena from Hearts netted both counters in the 2-0 win over East Fife at Methil two weeks back and was again on the mark for the Tynecastle Development side in midweek.

Forfar Athletic – The ‘Loons’ squad will go into the game on a high following last week’s demolition of Stranraer and no doubt eager to erase the memory of a dire 90 minutes for the Station Park men when Queens triumphed 3-0 at Station Park in late December.    Manager Jim Weir should have a full squad to select from, long term injury victims Marc Scott who went through surgery earlier in the week and Michael Kennedy apart.   Jim will have to decide whether to change a winning side after skipper Michael Travis and Andy Munro sat out the Stranraer fixture through suspension.

Summary – The third quarter of the Ladbrokes League 1 campaign comes to a conclusion with a proverbial ‘six’ pointer for both sides.   Hopefully the ‘Loons’ will show the same desire, commitment and positive attitude from the first whistle as was the case  last Saturday and with that resolve what would be a vital three points can be secured at Scotland’s National Stadium.
