Jamie Bishop, almost exactly three years to the day that he moved to Station Park from Arbroath, has been released from his contract and is set to join Stirling Albion.
With both his parents originally coming from Forfar it was almost a case of joining his hometown club and he played an integral part in the second half of the 2009/10 season in helping the ‘Loons’ gain promotion.
His appearances over the past twelve months have been restricted due to injury and following discussions with the Manager over the weekend, Jamie has decided to move on in the hope of gaining a regular first team berth with the Forthbank club whom he was on loan to just a few weeks back.
He heads off with the best wishes of all at Station Park no doubt including the fans for his footballing future.
