Marc McCallum re-joins the ‘Loons’

Sunday, 16 July 2017 15:21

mccallum marcTwenty four year old Forfar born goalkeeper Marc McCallum has put pen to paper on a one year deal with his hometown club.

Marc had a spell on loan at Station Park in 2012 while with Dundee United making ten first team appearances for the Station Park club.

During a seven year spell at Tannadice, Marc also spent time on a temporary transfer at Peterhead, Berwick Rangers, Arbroath and Livingston before signing on a permanent basis with the West Lothian club.

Last season he moved south of the border to join Derek Adams and Craig Brewster at Plymouth Argyle as back up keeper to Luke McCormack, before heading back north in May month.

As long as there are no problems with international clearance, Marc will be between the sticks at Glebe Park on Tuesday night in the Betfred Cup tie.

Former Development team players Jason King, Greg Warwick and Jamie Gill also signed new contracts after Saturday’s friendly success against Nairn County and all are likely to be in the pool for the Brechin City fixture.
