MATCH ARRANGEMENTS: Irn Bru Cup Second Round

Aberdeen have advised Forfar Athletic officials that our second round tie in the Irn Bru Cup against their Under 20 side will be played at North Lodge Park on the outskirts of Pitmedden, the home of Highland League side Formartine United.

The match will have a 7.45p.m. kick-off on Tuesday 16th August.

Admission prices will be £10 for adults, £5 concessions.

With no disrespect whatsoever to Formartine United whose ground is well appointed and has excellent facilities, ‘Loons’ officials are a little disappointed that the ‘Dons’ are unwilling to stage the game at their own Pittodrie Stadium, a ground that Forfar Athletic have not graced in a competitive fixture since 1923.
