‘Loons’ draw Welsh League Champions

Forfar Athletic will entertain Welsh League Champions New Saints in the fourth round of the Irn Bru Cup during the weekend of October 8th/9th.

It will certainly not be the longest journey that the Oswestry based club will have made this season as they were defeated 3-0 on aggregate by Apoel of Cyprus in the second qualifying round of the Champions League.

They currently sit top of the Welsh league with a one hundred per cent record from five games played.

The majority of their players are full-time and they will certainly provide a stiff test for Gary and his players.
