Capital City date in William Hill Scottish Cup

The ‘Loons’ were drawn away to Edinburgh City in the second round of the William Hill Scottish Cup when the draw was made earlier this evening in Aberdeen.

It is the only tie in the round which will feature two Ladbrokes League 2 sides.

The teams of course met on the opening day of the league campaign with the Athies coming out on top by the odd goal in five in a fairly scrappy contest.

The match will be played on Saturday October 22nd.

By coincidence the Edinburgh club in their first season in the SPFL are due to visit to Station Park a week later on October 29th.
