MATCH PREVIEW: Forfar Athletic v Cove Rangers

The ‘Loons’ get their pre-season campaign underway with what is now an annual visit from Highland League side Cove Rangers on Tuesday evening.

The visitors already have a game under their belt having defeated Montrose 2-1 at Links Park on Friday evening.

The home side will parade a few of their new singings in the fixture and will also include a few trialists in their ranks.

Grant Adam is ruled out through illness and the hunt is on in earnest for a replacement prior to the Betfred Cup commencing, while David Cox is an injury doubt.

Locally based official Greg Soutar is the man in the middle.

The kick-off is at 7.45p.m. and admission charges are £6 for adults, £3 concessions.

Season tickets are valid for this fixture and they will be on sale from 7p.m. until kick-off in the 1984 Lounge.

The lounge itself will be open for business from 6.30p.m. till kick-off.

Programmes are not being issued for pre-season games, but a few team sheets will be available as will fixture cards free of charge at the Refreshment Kiosk and within the lounge.
