With the ‘Loons’ not in Betfred Cup action until the second set of fixtures on July 17th, club officials are delighted to announce that Hearts who are in a similar position will provide the opposition in a final pre-season friendly at Station Park on Saturday July 14th with a 3p.m. kick-off.
The ‘Jambos’ manager Craig Levein has promised to send a strong squad north for the fixture.
The clubs have agreed on reduced admission charges of £10 for adults, £5 concessions, with Forfar Athletic season tickets valid for the fixture.
Admission charges for the Athies three other pre-season games will be announced shortly.
The ‘Loons’ full pre-season programme is therefore;-
Saturday June 30th v Ayr United
Saturday July 7th v Morton
Tuesday July 10th v Formartine United
Saturday July 14th v Heart of Midlothian
(All four fixtures at Station Park)
