Forfar Athletic begin their Irn Bru Cup campaign with an away fixture against Livingston’s Under 21 side at the Tony Macaroni Stadium on Tuesday 14th August with a 7.45p.m. kick-off.
The host club proposed reduced admission charges of £5 for adults, £2 for Senior Citizens and Under 16’s for the game and ‘Loons’ officials have agreed to this pricing schedule.
Hopefully, there will be no repeat of last season for the Station Park men when they fell at the first hurdle up at Dingwall against Ross County’s Colts side.
The second round of this season’s competition is scheduled for Saturday 8th September when the eight clubs from the English National League, the Irish League, the League of Ireland and the Welsh Premier League enter the tournament.
