Forfar Athletic will play host at Station Park on Saturday, November 24th to Lowland League side BSC Glasgow in the third round of the national tournament.
It will be the first-ever clash between the sides, this, in fact, being the first time in the short history that BSC which stands for Glasgow based Broomhill Sports Club have reached this stage of the competition.
The side managed by former Stranraer defender Stephen Swift who now play their home games at Alloa’s Indodrill Stadium having previously utilised Maryhill Juniors' facility are currently fifth in the Lowland League standings.
They qualified for this stage with an emphatic 4-1 thumping of fellow Lowland outfit Cumbernauld Colts at Broadwood on Saturday.
They have two players with past Station Park connections in their ranks, David Winters and Martin Grehan both having spent a period on loan with the ‘loons’ from Dundee United and Motherwell respectively earlier in their careers.
Full details of admission prices etc for the tie will be announced in due course.
