Apology

Forfar Athletic officials would like to apologise in advance to supporters attending the fixture with Airdrieonians on Saturday.

Due to last weekend’s snowfall, the subsequent thaw and the heavy rain which has fallen on Friday, alongside the constant use of the park at this time of the year, the condition of both the car park adjacent to the old gas works and the perimeter road round the back of the stand are exceptionally wet and not in the best of nick to say the least.

Please take extra care.

Temporary measures to improve the situation are in the pipeline and should be in place for the visit of Stenhousemuir on the 23^rd.

Again apologies for the inconvenience.

The game itself is of course not in any danger.   

In fact the opposite is the case with wet weather having a very positive effect on the 3G playing surface.
