Fixtures
With no competitive fixture at the weekend, the ‘Loons’ managed to fix up a closed-door friendly with a youthful St. Mirren side at a freezing Station Park last night.
The vast majority of the Station Park squad got a run out at some point in the contest including Andy Jackson who enjoyed sixty minutes of action after a near two-month lay-off.
The home side won 3-0, courtesy of three second-half goals, two netted by Jordan Kirkpatrick one of which took a wicked deflection on its way into the net, Dale Hilson netting the third.
All in all a useful exercise for the players and the watching management team ahead of Saturday’s cup tie.
