Forfar Athletic’s pre-season preparations will continue at Arbroath on Saturday.
With no disrespect intended to Carnoustie Panmure and Broughty Athletic who both gave an excellent account of themselves, this fixture against Dick Campbell’s Championship outfit will be an undoubtedly different ‘cup of tea’ for the Athies and a fair test of their credentials for the campaign ahead.
Stuart Malcolm again has a few injury doubts amongst his squad notably Steven Doris and Chris Antoniazzi, while the three trialists on show in previous games will again get an opportunity at some point in the contest to impress.
The match has a 2 p.m. kick-off and the ‘Loons’ media team will again provide updates on twitter throughout the contest as well as a match report, picture gallery and a highlights package on social media over the weekend.
The best we can do at present sadly as all involved at Station Park yearn for a return to supporters on the terraces.
