Scottish Cup Fourth and Fifth Round Draws

Following their dramatic penalty shoot-out win over Edinburgh City in the Scottish Cup this afternoon, the ‘Loons’ will participate in one of the eight third-round ties due to be played over the weekend 16^th/19^th April.

This will almost certainly mean in this ‘crazy’ conclusion to a season like no other that the Athies scheduled SPFL League One fixture away to Airdrieonians due to be played on April 17^th, will be brought forward to Tuesday, April 13^th, meaning four league games in eight days for Stuart Malcolm and his squad commencing with the visit of Peterhead to Station Park on Tuesday first.

Back to the Scottish Cup and In a break from normal protocols and due to the compressed nature of the tournament this season the draws for the fourth and fifth rounds of the national tournament will be both be conducted on Sunday afternoon.

A confirmation has come through from the SFA that the draws for Rounds Four and Five of this season’ Cup Competition will take place at 2 pm.tomorrow.
