Dumbarton v Forfar Athletic

Forfar Athletic management and players will dust themselves down after the loss of a late equaliser on Saturday past and head for league leaders Dumbarton in good heart on Saturday first.

It will be the first time supporters will have been admitted to clash between the ‘Sons’ and the ‘Loons’ at the Dumbarton FC Stadium just below the iconic landmark of Dumbarton Rock since early March of 2020, in fact the week before covid brought football and many other facets of daily and weekly life to a shuddering halt.

Of course the Athies made a couple of visits to Dumbarton during the 2020/21 season but on both occasions the games were played behind closed doors within the covid regulations.

Back to this weekend’s clash which has the normal 3p.m. kick off and the admission prices on a pay at the turnstile basis are;-

Adults £15
Students and over 65’s £10
Under 16’s £5

‘Loons’ supporters who have made the journey to the Banks of the Clyde on previous occasions will know that away supporters are housed in the West End of the Stand facility.
