Forthbank Stadium Update

You would not have had to be a world renowned meteorologist to have worked out that it has been pretty chilly all week.

The Forthbank Stadium, the home of ‘Loons’ opponents this weekend Stirling Albion has sadly not escaped the severe overnight frosts we have suffered in particular.

Albion officials have advised their Forfar counterparts this afternoon that at present the grass playing surface is fairly solid.

Disappointingly the milder weather which earlier in the week was forecast to move in tonight is now not scheduled to arrive in the central belt till Saturday at the earliest.

There is therefore obviously a doubt as to whether Saturday’s fixture will be given the ‘green light.’

We will endeavour to keep supporters as up to date as possible over the next 24/36 hours.
