Following a pitch inspection at 10a.m. to nobody’s surprise this afternoon’s cinch league2 fixture at Forthbank Stadium between Stirling Albion and Forfar Athletic has been postponed due to the rock hard state of the playing surface.
With no more spare Saturday’s in the fixture calendar the club’s will await confirmation from the SPFL of a new date for the match which will now inevitably be played on a Tuesday evening.
A wee mention that if anyone is looking for a local football ‘fix’ this afternoon, Lochee United are the ’home’ team, Forfar United their opponents in a Midlands Junior League fixture at Station Park, the kick-off 2.30p.m.,
