Midweek trip to Elgin for the ‘Loons’

Forfar Athletic will head to Morayshire on Tuesday August 15th in the second round of the SPFL Trust Trophy to face Elgin City at Boroughbriggs.

Elgin reached the second round stage with a 2-0 victory last night against St. Johnstone’s youngsters thanks to goals from Ross County loanee Ryan MacLennan and recent signing from Forres Mechanics Ben Barron.

The fixture on the 15th will be the second meeting between the sides within four days with Elgin due to visit Station Park in a cinch league2 clash the previous Saturday.
