Elgin City v Forfar Athletic

Forfar Athletic on the back of a ten game unbeaten run in the Cinch League2 head to Morayshire this Saturday for their fifth meeting of the season with Elgin City.

Now under the management of former Huntly boss Allan Hale, City are like the ‘Loons’ one of the form teams in the league at present.

While Ray McKinnon’s side have accumulated ten points from their last six league outings two wins and four draws, the Boroughbriggs outfit have netted one point more.

As a consequence both sides sit on the thirty-five point mark, two points adrift of fifth placed East Fife, but five points clear of both Bonnyrigg Rose and Stranraer.

An important three points up for grabs therefore and hopefully a few ‘Loons’ fans will make the trip north, a journey certainly shortened considerably these days courtesy of the Aberdeen by pass.

Kick-off is as usual at 3p.m.
