Forfar Athletic and Spartans have agreed on a re-arranged date for their fixture at Ainslie Park originally scheduled for January 18th, the ‘Loons’ of course now in Scottish Cup action that day up at Cove.
The William Hill League 2 clash with the Edinburgh outfit will now take place in the Capital City on Tuesday February 25th with a 7.45pm. kick-off.
That will bring to a completion a tough month on paper for the Athies with now five away games scheduled in a six match programme during the shortest month of the year.
In fact the only current home game during February is against Edinburgh City on Saturday the 8th. That is also the weekend set aside for Scottish Cup 5th round ties, so we live in hope that the game against the ‘Citizens’ may also require a new date in time into the bargain.
As supporters will recall, our game at Stranraer postponed earlier this month has been re-arranged for Tuesday February 4th.
