The ‘Loons’ head to Stranraer on Saturday first, their second visit to Wigtownshire this month.
A 2-1 victory for the visitors was the outcome of the midweek clash between the sides a couple of weeks back, Craig Slater with a 20 yard free-kick and a Bradley Rodden injury time penalty sealing the three points on the night.
Since then Stranraer have picked up four points which included a superb 3-0 win at league leaders East Fife on Saturday past, results which now see them relatively safe on the 37 point mark in the table.
Forfar Athletic following Saturday’s home defeat by the Spartans have returned to bottom spot in the William Hill League2, one point behind Bonnyrigg Rose who drew 1-1 at home to Stirling Albion at the weekend.
Jim Weir will be hoping that a few of the injured players within his squad will return to full training this midweek as anticipated and be fit for action on Saturday.
Admission prices at Stair Park are as follows;-
Adults £15
Over 65’s £10
5/16 year olds £5
A full preview of the fixture will appear on FAFC social media channels on Friday as usual.
