Clyde v Forfar Athletic – Match Information

Following on from Saturday’s excellent performance against East Fife, the ‘Loons’ hit the road this coming weekend for another ‘cup final’ with New Douglas Park in Hamilton the destination, Clyde our Saturday opponents.

The ‘Bully Wee’ currently sit three points above the Athies in the league table, but a victory for Jim Weir’s side in the clash would see them move above Darren Young’s outfit into eighth position in the William Hill League2 standings. A three point haul would also be another major stepping stone on the way to securing Forfar Athletic’s SPFL status.

To date this campaign, the ‘Loons’ have failed to lower our hosts this weekend’s colours, taking only one point from the three games played.

Over confidence is not in the Athies vocabulary, but they will travel hopeful of gleaning some reward from the ninety minutes on the back of a three game unbeaten run during which they have not conceded a goal.

Hopefully a reasonable number of the Station Park faithful will undertake the jaunt west on Saturday, the admission prices for Clyde home fixtures are as follows;-
