Elgin City v Forfar Athletic – Match Information

The first quarter of the William Hill League2 campaign comes to a conclusion on Saturday first and for the ‘Loons’ that means a trip up the A90 and the A96 to Boroughbriggs.

Jim Weir’s side will go into the fixture on the back of hard fought 1-1 draw on Saturday past at Meadowbank, Elgin at the same time losing out by the odd goal in five at home to league leaders Spartans.

City currently sit five points adrift on the Athies on the six point mark going into the game on a ground where the ‘Loons’ picked up what was a vital three points on their last visit in March of this year.

Elgin operate a very generous system at league fixtures where under 16’s are admitted free of charge if accompanied by a paying adult on match day.

Otherwise admission charges are as follows;-

Stand – Adults £18/Concessions (65 & over and unaccompanied under 16’s) £12

Ground – Adults £16/Concessions as above £10
