Last night’s SPFL Development League East fixture at Alloa ended in a 2-2 draw, the first share of spoils for the ‘Loons’ youngsters in a competitive fixture this term.
They were however well worthy of their point, only a goal in the closing ten minutes from the homesters denying the visitors a three point haul.
The ‘Wasps’ took the lead in the third minute of the contest, Sean Fagan the scorer.
However Sam Clark netted the equaliser for the visitors on the half hour mark, before he netted his own and the Athies second on the night just past the hour mark.
It was Adam Martin however who squared the game with an 82nd minute counter for the hosts.
Station Park is the venue on Tuesday of next week for what is Forfar’s penultimate league fixture before the winter break, Stirling Albion the opponents, the kick-off as usual at 7.30p.m.
A trip to Kelty to face Cowdenbeath is on the cards for the last week of the month.
No doubt a few friendly’s will then be arranged to keep the lads ticking over in December and January, another advantage of the 3G pitch facility at Station Park.
