Mike McEwan on behalf of the ‘Loons’ will be staging his autumn Scottish Spectacular in the Reid Hall on Sunday November 16th with a 7.15p.m. start.
One of the club’s major fund raisers of the year, tickets which are now on sale at the Toy Castle in Castle Street or from Mike direct on 01307 818765 are normally at a premium
Mike has as ever organised a varied cast to provide the evening’s entertainment. Making a welcome return is the excellent Newcastle based accordionist Leonard Brown, while there will be a Reid Hall debut for Shetland fiddler Maggie Adamson.
Local artistes Steven Carcary and Malcom Ross will also be on stage along with a talented group of dancers from the Angus Centre for Irish Dancing.
Co-comperes for the evening are the ever popular Eddie Rose and Robert Lovie, the latter fresh from his appearance in front of television audience of millions when he sang the National Anthem at the opening ceremony of the Commonwealth Games at Celtic Park.
Ticket prices are £12 for the balcony and £10 for the stalls, without doubt a bargain for three hours of as ever excellent entertainment.
