The SPFL will release the fixtures for all four division of the Ladbrokes Leagues on Friday morning of this week at 10a.m.
The ‘Loons’ are of course set for their first season in the fourth tier of Scottish football since the 2009/10 campaign.
They will be joined in the Ladbrokes League 2 by local neighbours Arbroath and Montrose as well as Annan Athletic, Berwick Rangers, Clyde, Cowdenbeath, Elgin City, Stirling Albion and newcomers Edinburgh City.
With Arbroath and Montrose likely to continue their recent pairing for the New Year weekend card, a ‘derby’ match trip to Elgin could be a possibility at that stage of the campaign for the Station Park players and supporters.
However all will be revealed come Friday morning.
