Marc Scott becomes close season signing number eight

Forfar Athletic this morning completed the transfer from Carnoustie Panmure of their highly rated 19 year old midfield player Marc Scott who had been attracting the attention of a few clubs in the area.

A product of Dundee United’s youth system, Marc has been with the Laing Park junior outfit since the age of 15 and was highly regarded by many in the upper echelons of the junior world.

Gary and his coaching staff have watched him in action personally over the closing weeks of the elongated junior campaign and are delighted that Marc has chosen to sign a one year contract at Station Park and that the clubs have agreed a compensation deal.

Marc lives locally in Friockheim and is based in Forfar in his everyday occupation.
