Airdrieonians at Home on Opening Day for Second Season in a Row

Airdrieonians who have been exceptionally active in the ‘market place’ during the close season will visit Station Park for a second season running on the opening day of the Ladbrokes League 1 campaign.

Let’s hope for a similar result to last time round! The first of the much vaunted local derbies comes with a visit to Gayfield on September 15th, Brechin City due at Station Park a week later.

In an amazing twixt of fixtures, the ‘Loons’ then have three home derbies in December, culminating in Brechin’s second visit of the season on the Saturday between Christmas and New Year.

Montrose are the last visitors of the campaign to Station Park in late April, a trip over the Tay to Methil bringing the ‘curtain down on the thirty six match season on the first Saturday in May.
