The draw for the first round of the Irn Bru Cup will take place on Tuesday 26th June at 1p.m.
It will be streamed live on the SPFL Facebook page.
A total of 48 teams are involved. The thirty
clubs from the Ladbrokes Championship, League 1 and League 2, the twelve
Premiership Colt teams and three teams from the Highland and Lowland League
will be in the ‘hat.’
The participants from the Highland League will be Cove
Rangers, Formartine United and Inverurie Loco Works, while Spartans, East
Kilbride and BSC Glasgow will represent the Lowland League.
First round ties will be played in the midweek of August 14th/15th,
with the second round scheduled for the weekend of September 8th/9th.
Two clubs from the National League in England, the Welsh
Premier League, the Irish League and the League of Ireland will enter at the
second round stage of the competition.
