After what seems an eternity, in fact it will only be four weeks, the ‘Loons’ return to Station Park on Saturday first when Airdrieonians are the visitors for a Ladbrokes League 1 fixture.

Michael Travis and his fellow players return to home territory on the back of a five game unbeaten run in league fixtures, a sequence that all connected with the Athies hope will continue.

We now enter a period of the season when we are at home in four out of the next six scheduled league fixtures, with all six due to be played in fact in the county of Angus.

This will also give the ‘Loons’ supporters a great opportunity to play their part in what is always a ‘team’ effort.
