1984 Lounge – Raith Rovers Match Arrangements

For only the second time since it opened in 2014, the ‘Loons’ Directors in anticipation of a larger than normal attendance at this Saturday’s game have had to take action in advance to prevent overcrowding etc in the 1984 Lounge prior to kick-off.

In the circumstances this Saturday admittance to the lounge from 12.30p.m. to 2.45p.m. will have to be restricted to home supporters only.

We apologise to Raith Rovers supporters in advance for this decision but trust they will understand.    The lounge is not that big an area and in the interest of comfort and safety this decision was made with some reluctance.

As many Raith fans will know, there are two excellent hostelries within easy walking distance of the ground and many more in the town itself should they wish to partake of a pre-match refreshment.

Forfar Athletic supporters should also note that at present it is likely that admittance to the lounge pre-match at the Arbroath fixture on 30^th March will be by voucher only.

These vouchers will be distributed by a club official within the lounge area at this Saturday’s fixture.

The Station Park board members apologise for any inconvenience these decisions may cause but trust that supporters will understand the necessity for the same in the circumstances.
