New Date for East Fife fixture

The Ladbrokes League 1 fixture with East Fife originally scheduled for this coming Saturday and postponed due to both clubs participation in the Betfred Cup has another new and this time without doubt confirmed date.

It was originally rescheduled for Tuesday, September 3^rd.

However, with both Forfar Athletic and the Fifers disappointingly falling at the second-round hurdle in the Tunnocks Wafer Challenge Cup last night, it now frees up a Saturday date.

The ‘Loons’ will therefore now entertain Derek Young’s side at Station Park on Saturday, September 7^th with the normal 3 p.m. kick-off.

This date in what is an International break weekend was set aside for the third round of the Challenge Cup, so it makes perfect sense in the circumstances for both clubs to now utilise the much preferred Saturday option.
