Robbie Leitch becomes sixth new face at Station Park

Stuart Malcolm has made a sixth January addition to his squad with the capture on a temporary transfer from Falkirk of 21-year-old midfield player Robbie Leitch.

Robbie who has just put pen to paper on an extended contract with the ‘Bairns’ moves to Station Park till the end of the current season.

He is the son of Scott Leitch who plied his trade in Scotland with Dunfermline, Hearts and Motherwell.

Robbie born in Swindon while his dad made over 100 appearances for the Wiltshire club, also began his senior career at Fir Park appearing in their 2015-16 Scottish Youth Cup winning side before moving south of the border to Burnley, the Falkirk Stadium his next port of call.

All parties involved in the deal hope that the move will be beneficial in the long run to the player most importantly, but also to Forfar and Falkirk in the short and long term respectively
