Sportsman’s Dinner Postponed

Club officials have had to make the sad but nevertheless inevitable decision to postpone the sold-out 25^th Annual Sportsman’s Dinner which was due to be staged in the Reid Hall on Friday 22^nd May due to the ongoing Coronavirus crisis.

This is obviously a ‘sair dunt’ to the club’s finances, but nevertheless the postponement of what is for many, one of the highlight’s of their yearly social calendar pales into insignificance alongside the pandemic that is sweeping the UK and beyond at present.

Whether the Dinner can be staged later in the year will be kept under review, but realistically it looks more likely that the 25^th staging of an event which began in the spring of 1996 will now take place on May 21^st, 2021.

To all who were due to support this year’s Dinner thanks once again and hopefully we can count your continued backing at future events when some normality returns to all our lives.
