Of The Loons
Our fourth last home scheduled league fixture of the season saw a ‘Loons’ squad ravaged by injury and covid lose out to Stirling Albion, at the same time the overall performance as noted by the management team one of the most disappointing of the season to date.
However no matter the result there are the usual thanks to be passed on from those behind the scenes at the club.
Firstly a thank you to the home support who turned out in reasonable numbers to lend their backing to the side.
Moving on thanks to our match sponsor James F. Stephen Architects.
Professor Fred and sons Paul and David have been great supporters of the ‘Loons’ cause for many a year and that backing is much appreciated.
Their party seemed to thoroughly enjoy their day in the Ian McPhee Lounge and chose Andy Munro as their Athies Man of the Match.
A thank you as well to all three parties who enjoyed the Station Park Hospitality Experience on the day, all return visitors.
A group of Bowlers from the Canmore occupied the Doug Houston Lounge while George Henderson of George Henderson Electrical entertained a group of colleagues and friends in the Archie Knox Lounge.
David Pearson and his good lady from Redford were the organisers of a group of most welcome friends in the Stewart Kennedy Lounge.
Thanks indeed to all and haste ye back.
