Forfar Athletic v Stirling Albion

Our cinch league2 fixture against Stirling Albion which was postponed on Saturday past as were all SPFL fixtures will now take place at Station Park on Saturday week the 24^th of September with the normal 3p.m. kick-off.

That Saturday during the international break at the higher level, had also been set aside by the SPFL for Trust Trophy fixtures.

However with both teams having been knocked out of that competition at the second round stage last month a joint decision has been made to take advantage of the spare Saturday slot rather than play on a Tuesday evening in October.

Scotland are in fact due to play the Republic of Ireland at Hampden that evening in a Nations Cup tie so officials of both clubs realise this decision will not suit all parties but trust all will understand the club’s are in perhaps a ‘no win’ situation.

Details of the opening times of the 1984 Lounge on the day to all supporters will be announced in due course.
