Young Supporters.

Following on from the events of last week's game against St Mirren, the club have held a meeting, at the request of our young fans group , to discuss and explain the severity of the actions at the game.
Firstly the club would like to say that the request was warmly received and it showed that they too were concerned about what happened.
Club Chairman Alan Shepherd and Club Safety Officer Iain Reid hosted the meeting and both were able to put across the severity of such behaviour and possible consequences if pyrotechnics continue to be brought into the ground and lit causing injury to other supporters.
A very open and honest discussion, both parties adding good points and it was generally an ideal way to ask and receive information from the club but also the young fans.
Alan said" I was very happy with the meeting, it was convened in a mature and sensible way. I hope moving forward the points raised and agreements made will strengthen the relationship between the club and younger supporters."
As a result the club will store the drumkit and banner within the ground and the group will self govern in order to allow less attention to them by stewards.
The club would like to put on record that they were never trying to stop them from coming into the ground, just to behave within the regulations, and congratulate them on their nonstop vocals on Saturday.
Thank you Ultras, and see you all on Saturday.
