Following their final group game in the KDM Evolution Trophy, the ‘Loons’ return to William Hill League2 action on Saturday first with a trip to the Forthbank Stadium to play Stirling Albion. This is the first of two successive away league fixtures for Jim Weir and his currently depleted squad, Dumbarton the port of call on Saturday week.
Back to the clash against the ‘Binos’ and Alan Maybury’s side following a 2-0 defeat at East Kilbride on Saturday past, currently sit one point and two places below the Athies in the league rankings.
The home side came out on top courtesy of a 4-2 score line at the Alpha Projects Stadium @ Station Park in the clash between the sides in August, the mathematicians amongst you no doubt quickly working out that a third of the ‘Loons’ goals scored in league fixtures to date this campaign were netted over the ninety exciting minutes that afternoon.
