Thank Again
[Sunday, 22 March 2026 14:14]
Another ‘nail-biting’ contest has come and gone, a point apiece the reward for the ‘Loons’ and the Spartans in slightly controversial circumstances at the Alpha Projects Stadium @ Station Park yesterday afternoon.
Thanks yet again to the Forfar faithful who turned out to support their side in superb fashion as they have done throughout a campaign of mixed results.
Thanks also to our match sponsor for the visit of the Capital City outfit, Bill Milne of Milnbank Ltd. Bill’s support in this manner over more years than he would probably care to remember has been quite frankly outstanding, and the thanks of all connected with Forfar Athletic are once again gratefully passed on.
Bill’s business colleagues and friends seemed to have their usual highly enjoyable afternoon with us, and they chose the very dependable Jake Dolzanski as their Man of the Match.

A big thank you, as ever, to our guests in the hospitality lounges, all long-standing supporters of the Athies cause. Ewan Phillip of the Queenswell Road Car Wash facility has been a backer of the ‘Loons’ in this fashion for many a day, similar support having been received in more recent times from Dave Simpson Roofing in Kirriemuir. Your support, gentlemen, is most appreciated.
Thanks as well to Les Davidson and Bruce Gordon and their mates, enjoying as ever the ambience of the Archie Knox and Ian McPhee lounges, their continued support most welcome.
Finally, a pat on the back to Rodney Leel and his pals, who, for the second time this season, took up the option of the 1984 Lounge package.
A midweek outing to Elgin is next on the ‘menu’ for the ‘Loons’ followed by a trip to Dumbarton, prior to a second meeting inside eleven days with Elgin when the Morayshire club visit Forfar on Saturday, the 4th of April.
